No more patience
The administrator for Isabelle and Rabbit's blog has had ENOUGH! Isabelle and Rabbit's antics, in addition to Rabbit's most recent self-indulgent activity....
...has left the administrator at her wit's end. She's going on vacation for 4 days to escape from the wondrous and wild, Tall Tales of Isabelle and Rabbit and to regain her lost sanity. Until then, good night and good luck.

But MOST of all.....
After the cage-cleaning is done, the street watching and X-files are over and done with, and the map making paused for the evening, Isabelle and Rabbit MOST enjoy.....
...loungin' in the sun!!!
TV time
In addition to watching the world pass via "front window," Isabelle enjoys catching a little scare watching the X-Files on C's computer.
Productivity...
As Isabelle spends hours gazing upon street traffic, Rabbit has been busily helping C create an interactive map of WnC's favorite places in SLC so far! Check out the map Rabbit has helped to design at:

Trip to IKEA
WnC spent Tuesday evening driving 20 miles south to battle huge crowds of unruly children at IKEA to find Rabbit a couch. The pursuit was fruitless. Nothing was bought. Rabbit sulked in his cage.
Green Chili!
Isabelle smells.......ROASTING GREEN CHILI from the Farmer's Market (Anaheim, NOT Hatch, but you get what you can)!!!!

Hot in the apartment
After Rabbit's wild leg-stretching adventure outside (where he discovered he LOVES the taste of wild roses) he needed a cooling rest on the bamboo floors....
Not the most "decent" position.

Experiments in Super-Heroineness
Rabbit had fun during free time today running super fast in the dirt flower bed in front of our apartment as WnC tried to have a yard sale. The reason we write "tried" is because WnC did not sell one thing.
Last night Isabelle hid behind the clothes dresser using her super-heroine invisibility vision to see through solid wood to the strange, fuzzy creature sitting in his cage.
Eventually she gained enough bravery to walk up to the cage to catch a sniff....

.....But quickly ran away!

Rabbit has a new home! And exploratory time!
Rabbit has a new home! After careful consideration and a little web research, not to mention the nightly skirmishes of chasing matches to boot, WnC decided it was time to create a caged home for Mr. Rabbit. It's fully equipped with a litter box, water vessel, feeding plate, hay bin, and basket for perching or hiding. Yesterday while Rabbit sat in his cage, W rearranged the living room, unpacking boxes and putting things in their places. During exploratory time this afternoon, Rabbit felt the need to hop on, or over, or through every single box, piece of furniture, rug, pillow, etc....W had moved. (Leaving a trail of Rabbit pellets to tell the tale). His new favorite spot is on top of the floor air vent that pumps cool air into WnC's apartment. He has fun watching his hair blow in the wind, recalling the open plains!.......................

Calming time
At first Isabelle and Rabbit lived relatively calmly in this unfamiliar, neutral new apartment. During the warm and relaxed hours of the late afternoon, Rabbit was seen to hop over to Isabelle, who stared lazily at Rabbit. During feeding and bathroom times, one might hear hissing, but things were okay.
But soon each took control over certain areas of the apartment at different times. Rabbit got underneath the bed at night and Isabelle on top. In the late morning Rabbit got the living room and Isabelle the bedroom closet. When one invaded the territory of another, Rabbit began to run, wildly across the slippery bamboo floors. This is when Isabelle decided it was time to start pursuing this odd fluffy creature who ran so stealthily.
WnC employed ways of calming the two monsters.
Isabelle gets a grooming and Rabbit gets to hop and eat in his new run.

But Isabelle is not always so calm....
And Rabbit not always so happy to be in his new run. (He's used to stretching his legs!)
Isabelle and Rabbit in the Moving Truck
Isabelle and Rabbit stacked nicely on top one another between the driver's and passenger's seat in our moving truck. For the most part, they were unaware of each other's presence. Rabbit thought the air conditioning was too cold so bundled in a ball and Isabelle meowed for the 1st 2 hours but thereafter accepted her circumstance.
